BACK-RELATED PROBLEMS I TREAT MOST EFFECTIVELY WITH ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a widely-accepted form of treatment for back pain and back-related injuries in the US today. I have extensive experience treating back and stress-related injuries with acupuncture, and also in working with Worker's Compensation insurance claims. My patients are usually referred by an MD/Primary Care Provider, a Physical Therapist, or a Chiropractor, often immediately after injury occurs. Because acupuncture decreases swelling, inflammation, and associated pain, immediate treatment in the early stages of the injury can reduce both the severity of the injury as well as recovery time. In later stages of recovery, acupuncture can be used in conjunction with physical therapy to increase energy flow to the injured area as well as the whole body, which quickens the healing process.
